Senior Software Test Engineer


Job Description

The Senior Software Test Engineer will perform Quality Assurance activities including testing supervision, system specification analysis, test plan, script development and execution, results analysis, test result and defect reporting, troubleshooting and other tasks in collaboration with other teams.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement peerless test infrastructure and framework.
  • Collaborate with software developers and domain experts for design and improvement of verification tests.
  • Partner with software test engineers to test applications as needed.
  • Prepare necessary test artifacts required for formal software / product release.
  • Participate in requirements gather and design reviews.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively in an agile and very fast paced environment.
  • Assist with customer production environments, including some operational and production support.
  • Participate in the testing and release of production software and validation of database integrity.
  • Assist software developers and domain experts in designing, performing, and improving V&V tests (examples: IQ, OQ, PQ, deviations).

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as B.S./B.A. in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Good written and spoken English skills required.
  • Software Development experience (C#, JAVA or similar).
  • Testing tools (Ranorex, Selenium, Jmeter, Jenkins, Team City, Katalon, SOAP UI, REST API).
  • Knowledge for Source code control (GIT, TFS).
  • Experience with API and web services testing.
  • Agile scrum methodology knowledge.
  • Be customer-focused, team-oriented, and motivated, taking ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and ability to write simple SQL queries.
  • Flexible to work across different schedules.
